Project Overview
Emit was a key partner in the modernization of the new Borax Factory at the Bandırma Boron Operations facility. We were responsible for the complete electrical, instrumentation, and automation scope, delivering an integrated solution to enhance the plant's control and operational capabilities.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
Our work included the supply, installation, and commissioning of:
- MV Systems: Supply and installation of the main transformer and Medium Voltage cells.
- Power Distribution: A busbar system between the transformer and the main distribution panel, and manufacturing and installation of all ADP and MCC Panels.
- LV Systems: Complete installation of Low Voltage power and lighting systems.
- Automation & Control: A 2,500 I/O Distributed Control System (DCS), including supply, installation, and all engineering services, as well as SCADA and PLC automation.
- Instrumentation: A wide range of industrial instruments, including electromagnetic flowmeters, radar level transmitters, vibration-type level switches, and various pressure and temperature gauges.
- Safety Systems: A complete Fire Alarm System installation.
