Energy Supply Works
Project Overview
For the V. Borax Pentahydrate Plant at the Kırka Boron Operations facility, Emit was subcontracted to perform the critical energy supply works. The project focused on providing reliable power, backup systems, and control system integration for the plant's main power transformers and switchgear.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
Our scope included the supply, installation, and integration of:
- Backup Power Systems: Supply and installation of UPS and Rectifier systems for uninterrupted power.
- Control Panels: Supply and installation of PLC Panels.
- SCADA Integration: Development of PLC software for two 36/6.3 kV, 12.5 MVA power transformers and 21 MV cells, followed by integration into the facility's existing SCADA and load shedding system.
- LV Systems: Complete installation of Low Voltage power and lighting systems.
- HVAC System: Installation of the climate control (HVAC) system for the transformer substation building.
