Project Overview
Emit was contracted directly by Eti Maden to undertake a critical infrastructure project involving the construction of 5 Medium Voltage (MV) transformer substations, along with associated Low Voltage (LV) distribution, site lighting, and electrical infrastructure across various areas of the Kırka Boron Operations facility.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
The project scope included the supply, installation, and commissioning of the following key components:
- MV Switchgear: 5 units of 12 kV Medium Voltage cells.
- MV Cabling: 7,150 meters of Medium Voltage underground cable.
- Transformers: Supply and installation of 2 new 1000 kVA dry-type transformers, plus the dismantling, maintenance, and re-installation of three existing transformers (1250 kVA and 400 kVA).
- Substations: 5 reinforced concrete kiosks to house the transformer substations.
- LV Systems: Complete installation of high-current power and lighting distribution systems.
- Panel Manufacturing: Supply and installation of Main Distribution Panels (ADP), power, and lighting panels.
