Project Overview
Emit was responsible for the complete electrical and automation works for the construction of the Kırka Solid Waste Conveyance System. This project involved establishing a new, robust power and control network over a significant distance to manage the facility's waste processing operations efficiently and safely.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
Our turnkey solution included the supply, installation, and commissioning of the following:
- MV Infrastructure: Supply and installation of 9,300 meters of Medium Voltage underground cable.
- Transformer Substations: 7 reinforced concrete kiosks housing 7 transformer substations (6.3/0.4 kV, 160 kVA).
- Switchgear: Supply and assembly of 20 Medium Voltage switchgear cells.
- Motor Control: Supply and installation of 12 frequency converters.
- Automation & Control: Programming and material supply for the control and monitoring of 12 frequency converters via the PentaV DCS system and RTU panels.
- LV Systems: Complete installation of high-current power, lighting distribution systems, and lighting automation.
- Panel Manufacturing: Supply and installation of Main Distribution Panels (ADP), power, and lighting panels.
- Electronic Systems: A comprehensive Fire Detection and Alarm System and a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system.
