TM-6 & Pond Pump Station Relocation Project

Project Overview

This project involved the complete relocation of the TM-6 transformer substation and the associated Pond Pump Station at the Kırka Boron facility. Emit was responsible for a wide range of mechanical and electrical works, including dismantling, moving, and reinstalling major equipment, as well as supplying and commissioning new systems.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

Our work included:

  • Mechanical Works: Dismantling and re-installing 3 existing pumps, installing 1 new pump, and connecting to the main pipeline with DN400 CTP piping.
  • Lifting Systems: Supply and installation of a new 5-ton bridge crane.
  • MV Systems: Supply and installation of 6 units of 12 kV / 1250 A / 25 kA MV cells and a new 6.3 / 0.4 kV, 2500 kVA transformer.
  • Power Distribution: Installation of a new Busbar system between the transformer and the main distribution panel, and installation of all ADP and LV distribution panels.
  • Motor Control: Dismantling and re-installing 3 existing frequency converters and supplying and installing 1 new frequency converter.
  • Control & Backup Power: Dismantling and re-installing the existing PLC system and supplying and installing new UPS and Rectifier systems.
  • LV Systems: Complete installation of Low Voltage power and lighting systems.
